Ms. Brandi Griffin completed her Bachelor’s degree at Valdosta State University and went on to complete a MS in Plant Ecology and Biomechanics in July of 2019. After graduation, Ms. Griffin was hired as a Plant ecology technician at The Jones Center at Ichauway. After finishing a contract at The Jones Center, she volunteered with Atlanta Botanical Gardens on their Torrey taxifolia monitoring project. She then took a position as a naturalist on Little St. Simons Island, Georgia where she worked on sea turtle monitoring, shorebird tagging, and vegetation monitoring projects. Most recently, she worked at the Wade tract censusing trees for Tall Timbers Research station while maintaining a full-time position with The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island.
