Tom is a retired Fire Captain from Dekalb County Fire Rescue in Georgia. He spent 29 years as a career Firefighter/EMT-I. During his time as a firefighter he also worked in home renovations and remodeling. He built his current residence in the town of Brooks in 2000. Since his retirement, Tom continues to do home improvements.
He married in 1984 and has 3 wonderful children and 4 grandchildren whom he loves dearly. He and his wife, Barbara Anne, enjoy taking their camper and traveling to see new places.
Tom is an avid hunter and enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. He has passed his love of the outdoors on to his sons, Clinton and Drew and daughter, Baylie.
Tom is an active member of his church as well as a Board Member of his daughter’s high school marching band booster organization. He is also Transportation Chairperson, and spends many hours during marching band season transporting equipment as well as managing the pit crew volunteers.
Tom’s leadership skills and attention to detail is a welcomed benefit to our group.
