Mr. Chewning has over sixteen years of water resources engineering experience in both the public and private sectors. His project experience spans several disciplines, including stream and wetland mitigation, stormwater and floodplain management, and municipal engineering that has involved local, state, and federal regulatory agency permitting. He has designed over 100,000 linear feet of stream channel restoration in the Carolinas and Tennessee. His expertise includes natural channel design, stream assessment, MS4 permit compliance, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater, floodplain, and ecological permitting, and construction oversight. Mr. Chewning has a Masters in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University.
