Mitigation Stream Scientist

Specialties: Stream restoration, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, GIS analysis, and CADD

Mr. Matt Veasey is a stream scientist whose work at TBG involves site investigations, natural channel design, stream and wetland delineation, geomorphology assessments, GIS map production, and H&H analysis for mitigation banking properties. He graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Earth & Environmental Science. Prior to TBG, Mr. Veasey worked in environmental consulting where he focused on stream restoration design, watershed planning, stormwater and green infrastructure design, and erosion and sediment control. He has completed Rosgen Level 1 and 2. Additionally, his NPDES level 1A erosion and sediment control certification.
