Sarah Herner,

GIS Technician

Sarah Herner has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography (2021) and a Master of Science degree in Geospatial Information Science and Technology (GIST, 2023) from the University of Wyoming. During her time at the University of Wyoming, she also earned her small unmanned aerial systems pilot’s license from the FAA. Before working with The Barn Group, Sarah worked as a GIS technician with the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC) where she did geospatial data analysis and creation, cartography, and online mapping application creation. She also served as an imagery intelligence analyst in the U.S. Navy Reserve for 4 years. Outside of work, she enjoys birding, hiking, hunting, and painting.
