Ashley Turner is a dedicated geologist specializing in water resources with a deep commitment to conservation and public outreach. She earned her BS in Geology from the College of Charleston in 2018, marking the foundation of her career in environmental science. After completing her degree, Ashley worked as a Hydrology Assistant with the National Park Service in Atlanta, GA. Following her internship, Ashley spent 3.5 years as a Hydrologic Technician with the US Geological Survey in Charleston, SC where she honed her skills in data collection, analysis, and water resource management. Simultaneously, Ashley dedicated her time to coordinating public outreach and managing social media for NASA South Carolina Space Grant on a part-time basis. In 2023, driven by her passion for nature, restoration, and education, Ashley transitioned to The Barn Group serving as a Stream Scientist on the Mitigation Team, where she continues to apply her hydrologic expertise to mitigate environmental impacts and promote sustainable practices. With her diverse background and dedication, Ashley Turner remains a driving force in the field of environmental conservation and education.
